MRI Technologist, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital United Health Services is seeking a MRI Technologist to join our Radiology 03 department at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich, NY. This is a Per Diem position.

$31.15 - $46.72 per hour, depending on experience.

Overview

The MRI Technologist will ensure that the evaluation of MRI procedures, equipment and staff are administered in a fashion that is accurate, timely, responsive and reliable. The MRI Technologist will perform all duties as required to ensure continuity and accuracy of patient care. Customers served include CMH employees, Medical Staff, patients, families and regulatory agencies. Priority will be given to activities that directly affect customer service.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited school with a degree in MRI Technology and

  • Experience in the intravenous administration of conventional MR contrast, supervised by a qualified physician or a qualified technologist.

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

  • ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registered as an MRI Technologist within 12 months of supervised MRI clinical scanning experience.

  • NYS license to perform Radiologic examinations.

  • Maintain BLS certification and be capable of using an AED. Maintain CE requirements as applicable.
