Rollon by Timken is seeking an experienced Junior Controller to join its team in Norton Shores. This on-site position supports the Business Controller in the day-to-day aspects of the business's accounting and reporting functions. The Junior Controller will play a large role in the month-end closing process.
Responsibilities:
Executing the daily operations of the accounting department
Timely and accurate completion of monthly accounting close and financial reporting package
Support business plan and financial forecast preparation and analysis
Inventory valuation
AR / AP management
Cash collection / monitoring ageing of receivables
Collections
Ensure proper and accurate accounting procedures and initiate corrective actions
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required
3 years experience in an Industrial Accounting enivronment, with a Controlling-focused role
Advanced MS Excel: must be proficient in vLookups and Pivot Tables
D365, QBO, QBE experience
SOX compliance
US Citizen or Greencard holder; sponsorship is not available for this position
