Come join our team! The Alpha Group, a successful staffing agency located in Norton, MA, is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant who is bilingual in Spanish. This Bi-Lingual Administrative Assistant will be responsible for answering and screening incoming calls, meeting and greeting applicants who come in to apply and performing employment verifications and administrative functions. The Alpha Group is seeking a detail-oriented multi-tasker who is looking to work in a fast-paced office. The hours for the Bi-lingual Administrative Assistant position are in-office Monday - Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM.

Responsibilities of the Bi-Lingual Administrative Assistant:

  • Provide exemplary administrative support to the Sales Team

  • Speak with various companies via phone to verify applicants' previous employment history

  • Create and edit job postings on The Alpha Group website, CareerBuilder, DET, and Craigslist

  • Create resumes for applicants as needed

  • Speak with applicants over the phone regarding any new job openings in which they are interested

  • Answer questions from field employees as they relate to payroll or hours worked

  • Conduct background and drug tests as needed on prospective employees

  • Perform E-Verify and process all I9 forms and documentation

  • Effectively utilize MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Perform education verifications as requested

  • File, copy, fax, and laminate documents as needed

  • Perform all other projects as assigned by President or Sales Manager

Qualifications of Bi-Lingual Administrative Assistant

  • Must have close attention to detail

  • Must be bi-lingual in Spanish

  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize projects with strong organizational skills

  • Must be able to interact politely and professionally with companies over the phone

  • Must be proficient in MS Office

  • Must be flexible, and be able to manage multiple projects at once

  • Ability to work well in a team-based environment
