Your responsibilities Job Summary As a UX Designer at Online Metals, you will play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional user experiences for our online retail platform. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will utilize your expertise in user-centered design principles to enhance usability, accessibility, and overall customer experience. From wireframing to prototyping, your creativity and analytical skills will drive the optimization of our ecommerce website, ensuring seamless navigation and conversion pathways for our users. UX Designers are also responsible for conducting research to uncover insights that drive improvements while leveraging a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods, you will delve into the needs, behaviors, and preferences of our customers to inform strategic decision-making and optimize the end-to-end shopping journey. Job Description Key Accountabilities 1. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand business objectives and user needs. 2. Translate business requirements and user needs into intuitive and engaging user interfaces for the ecommerce website. 3. Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively. 4. Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gather insights and validate design decisions. 5. Iterate designs based on feedback, data-driven insights, and emerging trends in ecommerce UX/UI design. 6. Ensure consistency in design elements, interactions, and user flows across different pages and devices. 7. Advocate for user-centric design principles and best practices within the organization. 8. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor experiences to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. 9. Collaborate with developers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of design solutions within technical constraints. 10. Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional workshops to foster collaboration and ideation. 11.
