Duties and Responsibilities: Brine Room Operator
Food safety is the responsibility of every employee. Any issues should be brought to the immediate attention of area supervisor of manager
Must be able to follow mixing instructions.
All ingredients must be scanned.
Maintain inventory accuracy and FIFO.
Direct and manage personnel assisting Brine Operator position.
Must follow all GMP's associated with this position.
Must be able to set-up, properly operate, read and monitor for accuracy scales and all testing equipment.
Communicate any mixing changes, problems, and mixing status of tanks in use at shift change.
Must be able to lift bags or containers weighing up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to run equipment necessary- blender, tanks etc to run all product lines in the brine room.
Must be able to maintain a continuous and proper flow of brine.
Must be able to fill out all paperwork & documentation associated with this position neatly & accurately.
Must be conscientious about cleanliness.
Responsible for shutting line down and notifying proper people if an error is made or problems discovered. (QA Line tech Supervisor, Manager, next shift etc.)
Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by actions, communicating and helping co-workers. Must actively plan and act to set the next shift up for success, by cleaning and weighing or staging as appropriate.
Must know & understand all Critical Control Points for this position.
Must be able to follow current cleaning procedures.
Other Duties as assigned by supervisor.

Schedule:
2nd Shift : 3:00pm-11:00pm8-hour shift Monday to Friday Night shift 8 hour shift, may need to work extended hours / Overtime based on needs of the business Weekend availability in season w/ specific mandatory Saturdays as needed
Salary: Up to $20.97per hour
Earn Bonus Incentives:
Differential Bonus for 2nd shift -$1.00 per h ur
Attendance Bonus -$.25 per hour
Documentation Bonus-$.25 per hour
