Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in NORTHGLENN, Colorado, United States. The role involves managing financial activities for our operations in the real estate industry. You will be expected to provide leadership to the accounting team, ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and handle day-to-day accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial activities and ensure the integrity of financial operations.

• Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment within the accounting team.

• Utilize expertise in low-income housing regulations and property accounting to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights into the company's financial performance and aid in decision-making processes.

• Monitor cash flow, conduct financial analysis, and implement strategies to optimize financial resources and minimize financial risks.

• Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and recommendations for operational improvements and strategic planning.

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with reporting requirements and legal obligations.

• Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard financial assets and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

• Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes to proactively adapt financial practices to evolving requirements. Requirements • Proficiency in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software

• Knowledge of Data Mining Techniques

• Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and ERP Solutions

• Experience with the 'About Time' software

• Understanding of Accounting Functions and Budget Processes

• Proficient in Expense Reporting and Finance

• Ability to use Microsoft Power BI and Power BI tools

• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate financial records and prepare clear and accurate reports for informational, auditing and operational use

• Reconciling complex statements and accounts

• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to meet deadlines

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

• Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

• High level of proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
