About the Role:
The Area Training Partner (ATP) plays a critical role in implementing and scaling Wonder’s Training Programs, supporting business growth, and driving training excellence. The ATP is responsible for planning and overseeing training across their area, including Manager-in-Training (MIT), Trainer Training, and Team Member Training programs. The ATP partners closely with the Market Director and Regional Managers to ensure consistent adoption and execution of learning tools and training standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
Maintain and update the MIT roster & training schedule templates, including location planning and progress tracking, to manage the balanced deployment of MITs throughout their training.
Own the Training Restaurant program and certifications, working with Regional Leadership to implement, execute, and drive program adoption.
Lead orientations, training workshops, new manager training, ongoing manager development, train-the-trainer, and other learning initiatives.
Spend 60-70% of the time in the field, supporting Wonder training programs, including MIT execution, training and cross-training, and validation progress.
Partner with the Market Director and Regional Managers to review weekly MIT Status Trackers, tracking progress, validations, and host-GM program execution.
Collaborate with the Market Director to create development plans aligned to market needs and to manage weekly check-in cadence to ensure program consistency and alignment.
Manage training validations reporting across all roles, partnering with Operations Leadership to drive cross-training and developmental outcomes.
Partner with the Market Director and Regional Managers to develop strategic training plans that drive results on specific operational and training needs in the region.
Conduct and document restaurant visits with Area Leaders of Training to assess training effectiveness and identify skills and talent development opportunities.
Manage feedback for all training programs through post-training surveys, onsite visits, and other methods.
Partner with the Market Director, Regional Manager, and NSO team to ensure a strong bench of trainers and consistent execution of training standards for New Store Openings.
Experience :
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in training, operations, or a related field within the QSR or fast-casual restaurant industry.
Proven experience in implementing and scaling training programs across multiple locations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and track progress effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong partnerships with leadership.
Ability to use Excel and other systems and tools
Travel :
Willingness to spend 60-70% of time in the field, with travel as required to support training execution.

Base Salary Range: $88,000 - $92,750
