Responsible for supporting the Site Merchandising team with the end-to-end site experience for a specific category on the Crate & Barrel website and mobile app. Executes strategic initiatives and maintains high standards through data-driven optimizations. Drives results by enhancing product discoverability, optimizing site navigation, and improving customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive site execution to bring the customer online shopping experience to life and meet or exceed financial goals and drive conversion

  • Analyze site metrics related to user behavior, product performance, leveraging insights for optimization.

  • Oversee the Product Description Page (PDP) content, ensuring accurate and compelling product copy and images and effective cross-sells/up-sells.

  • Manage product discoverability and site merchandising activities including homepage, promotions, category merchandising, and navigation enhancements to drive sales and improve user experience.

  • Collaborate with the E-Commerce Manager to develop and execute web merchandising strategies that align with business goals and enhance online sales performance.

  • Identify opportunities for new site content and experiences to address customer needs and preferences, driving engagement and loyalty.

  • Participate in user testing to validate site functionality, presentation accuracy, and product data integrity. Identify opportunities for enhancement.

  • Lead the product launch process ensuring timely and accurate web product launches.

  • Execute site content for category ownership

  • Optimize on-site search functionality to ensure customers can easily find products based on keywords, attributes, and preferences

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Maintain a level of product knowledge to ensure product information and presentation are accurate

  • This position requires extensive cross-functional communication and will work with various team members to maintain accuracy of products and content.

  • Incorporate best practices in online merchandising while maintaining overall company, eCommerce and merchandising strategy

  • Effectively utilize all merchandising tools and features to increase sales

  • Develop a strong working knowledge of related systems and dependencies (AS400, PIM, Digital Asset Management tools, QA environments)

  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with cross-functional partners

  • Highly organized and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and systems

  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced and collaborative environment

  • Strong communication skills

  • Customer-centric and resourceful mindset

    Experience Required:

  • Bachelors degree

  • 2+ years of experience in retail, and/or eCommerce merchandising

  • Google Suite (Gmail, GoogleDrive)

  • Retail and/or eCommerce Merchandising experience preferred

Minimum Starting Rate: $58,900.00 Annually

Up to: $78,050.00 Annually

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
