UL, LLC Associate FUS Project Owner in Northbrook, Illinois

  • Send projects to lab in a timely fashion as warranted by KPI goals.

  • Finalize projects in the computer system when completed and indicated by Lab or Engineering teams.

  • Manage receipt of samples through communications with client and verification of physical specimens when received in building.

  • Process Non-Conformance and work with Engineering to get analysis done in a timely fashion.

  • Manage work tickets that are generated at the closure of the job to ensure the job is closed satisfactorily and there are no outstanding issues.

  • Manage workload with some supervision and maintain accountability.

  • Create lab documents that facilitate testing and recording of data for the project.

  • Manages a limited number of categories.

  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

  • Performs other duties as directed.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Some college education preferred.

  • Highly organized and customer focused.

  • Proficient in computer systems and programs, including Word and Excel.

  • Ability to manage multiple processes and workloads simultaneously.

  • Strong multitasking skills and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

  • High energy and a proactive approach to tasks and challenges.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Familiarity with Follow-Up Services processes (preferred).

  • Experience with UL’s internal file management systems (ECM, Flex, Labware) is a plus.
