Construction Worker and PainterFull Time - Northampton Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance. Key Responsibilities: Perform work as instruction by construction project manager and construction supervisor. Able to work as a team and independently as a painter as needed. Perform work as instructed. Apply paint, stain, and coatings to a variety of surfaces and structures, including walls, ceilings, indoor trim, as well as external surfaces such as bridges and buildings. Protect furniture, floors, and sometimes trim with tarps and masking tape to prevent damage during painting. Prepare surfaces for painting by filling holes and cracks, sanding surfaces to a smooth finish, and applying primers or sealers as required. Select and mix the correct type of paint or coating for each project, following specifications and using knowledge of painting techniques. Work safely with various painting equipment and materials, maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Coordinate with project managers, and team members to ensure timely completion of projects with high-quality results. Position Qualifications: Valid driver\'s license. Employee must be able to lift 50-100 pounds. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and five years of responsible experience in building and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair; or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience. Pay Rate: \$22.00/ hour. Compensation: \$22.00 per hour
