What to Expect:

This role will be responsible for developing, deploying and adapting sales processes, tools and data analytics, while supporting the development of sales team capabilities to enable effective sales planning and execution across the Specialty Vitamins, Minerals and Herbal Supplements (SVMHS) sales team to drive sales results and impact in their roles.

A day in the life:

Data Analytics

  • Be responsible for providing the SVMHS business with accurate and relevant data analytics and insights.

  • Ensure sales, trade spend, and sales execution data is gathered, accurately reported, analysed and stored.

  • Build, deploy, and adapt data reporting, analytics, and visualization (example: Power BI).

  • Provide the business with valuable sales and sales execution analytics and insights to enable data-driven decision making leveraging impactful reporting and visualization.

  • Support market data and intelligence analysis to develop key business questions/ issues, formulate hypothesis, perform analysis, and summarize conclusions/ recommendations with minimal guidance.

Sales Operations

  • Be responsible for ensuring that relevant business processes and tools are deployed, embedded, reviewed, and adapted for the SVMHS sales team to enable them to work effectively (examples: sales planning, sample management, sales support tools).

  • Identify, implement and improve on CRM capabilities to drive efficiencies in business planning and execution in collaboration with Sales leaders, Sales Force Excellence (SFE) and Global Commercial Execution (GCE) teams.

  • Collaborate with SFE Lead and other stakeholders to develop and deploy Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), SIP Tracker, sales execution KPIs and targets.

  • Work with Marketing to deploy resources and tools that enable effective customer engagement.

  • Lead and facilitate effective cross-functional process to gain insights and take feedback related to the development, implementation and use of sales operations tools and processes.

  • Provide reporting and analytics to support sales team compliance with commercial policies, processes and guidance.

Capability Development

  • Collaborate with NHSc Performance & Development Manager (PDM), Nestle Canada and Global Learning & Development (L&D) teams to identify, develop and implement relevant sales competency development initiatives for the sales team.

Role Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven experience in sales enablement, data analysis, and KPI management.

  • Post Secondary education with a focus on sales, marketing, IT or finance.

  • Certification in Data Analytics, Sales Force Automation is an asset.

  • Proficiency in the use of Power BI, Salesforce, Azure and Microsoft Excel in creating data reporting visualization.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to pull key insights from research and interpret complex data sets.

  • Proficiency in articulating ideas, and communicating/presenting recommendations effectively to gain leader/ stakeholder buy-in.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex and dynamic environment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience or understanding of the nutrition, pharma or CPG industry will be an asset.
