Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Tech 1 with experience in CNC Milling or CNC Turning to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in CNC operations and the ability to load and unload parts on the machine, as well as perform inspections. You will be working with state-of-the-art equipment including Okuma's 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machines with tombstone pallets, Brother, and other advanced machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines with the ability to set up from start to finish using drawings, prints, and tool lists.

• Maximize efficiency and productivity with tooling and fixturing.

• Edit programs at the machine for simple to medium complexity parts using G-Code (plus).

• Change worn and damaged tools in machines through the production process.

• Load programs and tools into CNC machines and verify programs are correct before production run is started.

• Troubleshoot problematic setups and document changes.

• Perform first piece and in-process inspections on parts to ensure quality standards.

• Perform basic maintenance on CNC equipment and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience working as a CNC Operator / Machinist.

• Experience with CNC milling machines, CNC machinist operations, and machine setups.

• Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.

• Intermediate knowledge of GD&T and the ability to troubleshoot and identify programming errors.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of G-Code for editing programs.

• Experience with Fanuc control systems.

• Experience with vertical milling and various machining processes.

Work Environment

We are hiring for multiple shifts with openings on the 1st shift (7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime potential on Saturday) and the 2nd shift (3:15pm to 11:45pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime potential on Saturday). The work environment is a machine shop setting with no AC, although it is not too hot in the summer. Our facilities include a 70K sq ft building and a 130K sq ft building, with approximately 270 total employees working across multiple shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of North Wales, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $62440.00/yr.
