Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager in North Tonawanda, New York. You will be joining our team in the construction industry to oversee tax compliance, collaborate with external tax advisors, and manage tax audits. The role also includes preparing tax returns and managing financial reporting, as well as supporting the accounting department and staying updated on changes in tax laws.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee tax compliance at all levels to ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Collaborate effectively with external tax advisors to guarantee optimal tax strategies and compliance

• Prepare and review various tax returns, including corporate, sales, and use taxes

• Manage tax audits and resolve any tax-related issues with external agencies efficiently

• Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports

• Support the end-of-month close and the accounting department as needed

• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company’s financials

• Use accounting software systems such as BlackLine and Concur to streamline processes

• Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to manage and integrate the company's financial activities

• Handle accounting functions, accounts payable, and accounts receivable effectively

• Conduct auditing and billing functions with precision and professionalism

• Manage quarterly taxes efficiently and accurately. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with BlackLine software

• Knowledge of Concur software

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to manage Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Auditing procedures

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Experience with Quarterly Taxes management
