Treasury Wine Estates People Applications Manager in North Sydney, Australia

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Platform and Integration, this newly created role in the Data, Digital, and Technology Function will have day-to-day technology ownership for all our employee applications, including Oracle HCM, Kronos WFD, CultureAmp, and integrations to key downstream systems, including Payroll. This position will work closely with Technology and our business partners in People & Culture to ensure that we can unlock value and improve employee experiences from our applications suite globally, now and into the future.

Note: This role can be based in our Sydney or Melbourne office.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the People Application team, a small but dedicated team of technology professionals responsible for configuring and supporting all employee applications.

  • Serve as the global subject matter expert on MyHR (Oracle HCM) and Kronos WFD.

  • Support the business and technology to ensure our systems are configured, updated, and adopting new features and functionality.

  • Maintain a strong global focus, recognising necessary differences while striving for process alignment wherever possible.

  • Own and manage key vendor relationships, ensuring application costs are well controlled while maintaining interactive vendor and industry engagement.

  • Lead the application platform team responsible for support, configuration changes, and minor and major enhancements through to project delivery.

  • Drive continuous improvement in how we measure, manage, maintain, and enhance our technology platforms and consumer experiences.

  • Champion a data-led approach and promote data analysis and insight for decision-making.

About you

We are seeking a technology expert in HR systems, with proven experience configuring and managing Oracle’s HCM system and/or Workforce Dimensions. You will have experience leading small to medium delivery teams as well as the ability to influence and collaborate with others globally.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate between Technology, People & Culture, and key stakeholders.

  • Experience with HR systems management.

  • Project management experience or certification is highly regarded, given the responsibility to manage medium-sized projects.

  • Strong stakeholder management capability: able to achieve outcomes where there are multiple and varied points of view.

  • Strong background in technology delivery and supporting digital transformation.

  • Direct experience managing software and consulting budgets.

  • Related professional qualifications and/or 7+ years of work experience.
