Innophos is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator that will be based at our North Salt Lake, Utah manufacturing site. The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing HR support at the North Salt Lake and Geismar, Louisiana manufacturing facilities. Working with the HR Manager, the HR Coordinator is responsible for assisting with hiring and onboarding, maintaining employee data, addressing employee relations matters, supporting employee engagement and coordinating year-end benefits and performance management processes.
Key Responsibilities
Participates in day-to-day administration, communication and implementation of HR policies and programs
Responsible for data entry activities in multiple HR systems, including new hires, employment changes
Provides administrative support to the Human Resources team as needed
Responsible for reporting & tracking of HR data
Maintains and organizes job descriptions
Maintains employee files and records, including storage and maintenance of key documents in electronic format
Ensures that new hire notifications as well as employee exits are sent to key stakeholders for onboarding and off boarding processes
Plans and coordinates HR meetings and other meetings as requested
Assists with facilitation of New Hire Orientation
Assists in administering the Performance Review Program, Benefits Open Enrollment, and Year-End Compensation Planning Process
Documents HR procedures as needed
Assists with preparation of separation packages
Liaises with Payroll as needed
Serves as point of contact for general HR inquiries from employees
RequiredEducation and Experience
Bachelors’ degree preferred
Two or more years of experience in an HR role
Bilingual – Spanish/English Strongly Preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of commonly used HR concepts and practices
Complete discretion and ability to work with confidential information
Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment and independently as required
Proficiency handling general administrative duties
Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow with the organization
Ability to research and analyze data
Experience in various HR functions, such as onboarding, recruiting, benefits, compensation analysis a plus
Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and effectively prioritize workload
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and HR systems
Occasional travel (1-2 times per year) required
