Robert Half Finance and Accounting and Kevin Sweet have partnered with a global distribution client that is looking to double in size over the next few years and surpass one billion in annual revenue! This is a highly visible role and will be handling the consolidation of financial results, annual budget, monthly and quarterly financial reports, variance analysis, financial modeling, monitoring KPI’s and use advanced technology to drive process automation, advanced analytics and data visualization.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Consolidate financial results of several entities to produce financial statements

• Variance analysis and preparation of monthly and quarterly reports

• Assist with developing the annual budget and monthly forecast reports and financial modeling

• Support monthly reporting cycle and performance management process

• Assist in preparing materials for monthly operating reviews and quarterly meetings

• Support business teams with KPI tracking and critical business decisions

• Work closely with business partners to enhance and upgrade reporting analytics

• Leverage new technology and business intelligence tools to drive process automation in reports, advanced analytics and data visualization

• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed

Interest candidate must have:

• BS/BA in accounting or finance is required. CPA or MBA is preferred.

• 4+ years of experience in a mixed of finance and accounting.

• Budgeting, forecasting, modeling, variance analysis and preparation of financial reports

• Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Business Intelligence Tools such as Power BI and financial software applications.

• Ability to develop and communicate financial models

• Experience working with consolidation tools and consolidating financial result and preparing financial statements

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills.

• Background working with forecasting

• Earlier work involving financial modeling

• Microsoft Excel experience preferred

• Demonstrated knowledge of Analyze Financial Statements

• Good understanding of variance analysis

• Practical knowledge of budget forecasting

• Proficiency in Power BI

• Forecasting & modeling experience highly preferred

• OneStream experience preferred

• Consolidations experience

• Adeptness in Consolidated Financial Statements

• General familiarity with Annual Budget

• University Degree experience desired

  • Exceedingly skilled with financial reporting tools

• 5+ years experience with advanced financial analysis, planning and budget controls required

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, MBA preferred

  • Superb presentation skills

  • Be able to simplify complex problems and build solutions
