Abiomed Europe GmbH, Johnson & Johnson MedTech is recruiting for a Commercial Training Manager (w/m/d), EMEA & APAC located in Europe.

As the Commercial Training Manager (w/m/d), for EMEA & APAC, you will be responsible for developing and providing sales training, coaching, and development to Abiomed new hires and existing field members. This role will teach consulting skills and best practices, sales and non-sales communication model implementation, review marketing messaging, discuss resource utilization, account strategies and territory management. The Commercial Training Manager will report directly to the Assoc. Director Training Education EMEA APAC. They will be responsible for all aspects of training design, curriculum development, session planning and management, facilitation, monitoring progress, and long-term planning for commercial skill development needs.

In this role, you will work globally through partnership and alignment with Commercial Training team in the US, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Sales Leadership to exceed Abiomed Commercial, Clinical, and Business Objectives!

This role is designed to drive commercial effectiveness and goal attainment while building the confidence, competence, and commitment to excel in a high-growth complex, constantly changing sales environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of Sales & Commercial Training Sessions including coordination and collaboration with force multiplier teams Marketing, TAM, PPD, and Medical Office.

  • Schedule field rides to aid in transitioning and developing skills necessary for commercial success in their roles.

  • Inspect for Integrity Selling Sales Model during field experience or classroom exercises.

  • Promote utilization of marketing resources and messaging with key customers.

  • Plan, implement and present at Abiomed Sales and Commercial Programs (AAM, Quarterly Plan of Action, All Field Calls).

  • Provide timely performance feedback regarding Field Rides to Zone, Regional Directors, Regional Sales Managers/Regional Clinical Manager and Assoc. Director Training & Education.

  • Develop standard Operating Procedures on key commercial consultancy strategies.

  • Launch and further optimization of C.O.R.E Strategies and Tools, Plan of Action, Post Event Review, Outcome Reviews, Analytics, Dashboards, and Salesforce throughout EMEA & APAC.

  • Work closely with the senior Commercial Leadership Team to build a World Class Commercial Organization.

  • Develop together with Senior Leadership the Promotional Pathways for each field team role, while reinforcing Key Learnings from SCT.

  • Develop Field Sales Coaches program to provide mentorship and field rides from successful peers & leaders in the field to learn commercial skills.

  • Offer Remote Comprehensive, Regional Trainings utilizing Integrity Selling aligning with Leaders Intent, Including Disease State, Clinical Data, Product Positioning. (PPCI, CGS and Surgery).

  • Manage, Coordinate, and Support Integrity Selling Coaching Calls for Abiomed Leadership.

  • Work with Internal Partners to Advance Commercial and Non-Commercial Capabilities such as Marketing campaigns, launch campaigns, driving to the tactical plan.

  • High potential role for future Abiomed Leadership.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years MedTech sales experience.

  • Abiomed Experience as a TM, CC, Senior Level highly preferred, with strong goal achievement.

  • Must Achieve a Strong/ Strong Year End Review.

  • Must incorporate “Patient First Mentality” in their practice.

  • Must have a passion for coaching and mentoring.

  • Recommendation by current Regional Sales Manager.

  • Ability to influence through data-driven recommendations.

  • Integrity Selling Certification Required.

  • Available to attend an Integrity Selling “Train the Trainer” Program in US.

  • Expert on business practices, franchise management and resource utilization

  • Display strong clinical/product knowledge and patient management techniques.

  • Strong understanding of business analytics and Salesforce, Tableau functionality

  • Strong computer and organizational skills

  • Ability to travel frequently (50%) throughout Europe, occasionally APAC.

  • Advanced business English plus second language, German preferred.

  • Physical ability to attend and lead Live Events & Co-travel.
