Revenue Accountant II

As a Revenue Accountant II on the US Contract Accounting team, you will act as a key finance contact for all contracts within assigned client base and ensure contract revenue complies with GAAP and how the terms, conditions, schedules within the contract affect the financials. Additional responsibilities include; determining appropriate revenue treatment for client contracts, oversee revenue billing backlog to ensure accuracy and timeliness of revenue recognition, reconcile client balances, and manage weekly projections and cash forecasts. Revenue Accountants will also manage client contract milestones by working with other Cerner associates to determine appropriate timelines to obtain completion documentation as well as assist with corporate statutory audit deliverables.

At least 6 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
1 years of finance and/or accounting work experience
5 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the job:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance; or related field; or equivalent, relevant work experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)-AICPA
Located in or willing to relocate to the Malvern,PA or Kansas City area
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
