What are your contributions to the team?

• Oversee and lead the Quality Team at our Los Angeles, North Hills site

• Establish and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure company and customer requirements are met through effective company-wide implementation of the QMS

• Provide periodic reports to upper management on the status and effectiveness of the QMS as related to the company’s written Quality Policies

• Ensure process and product compliance through appropriate reviews and approvals of work products

• Be responsible for administering the Company’s Quality program in accordance with customer and internal company AS9100 requirements which serves as the primary interface for customer and regulatory Quality audits

• Develop standardized processes, tools and methods for product inspection / verification and associated compliance documentation

• Act as the primary customer contact for escapes and quality issues

• Ensure that all certifications and training are performed to comply and adhere to company, industry and regulatory requirements are met and maintained

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• You have 5+ years’ experience, including at least 2 years of leadership experience

• You have experience in aerospace and / or manufacturing inspection

• You have a proven understanding of ISO9001, AS9100

• AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification is preferred

• You have knowledge of quality control, process control, statistical inspection methods, and blueprint reading

• You have a demonstrated ability to perform high level mathematical, geometry, and mechanical properties problem solving
