TevisHR Inspector/Estimator in North Highlands, California
Good Life Construction, Inc. is looking for a dynamic Inspector/Estimator to join our team of professionals. This individual contributor role is an hourly, full-time position located in North Highlands, California. INSPECTOR/ESTIMATOR Job Summary: The inspector/estimator will respond, assess, evaluate, and estimate Deck and Balcony (multi-family) projects for department. Duties/Responsibilities: * Produce proposals for deck and balcony division. Includes counting all elevated elements and determining which 15% we will inspect and determine pricing. * Obtain all pertinent information related to inspection to prepare and present proposal and send to the customer to get authorization. * Assist and support inspection and report writing. * Document and track projects in Pipedrive CRM * Update new details regarding jobs into Pipedrive * Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project. * Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors. * Communicates and collaborates with internal and external customers while supporting customer experience. * Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. * Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed. * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. * Must have insurable driving record (DMV) Education and Experience: * At least three years of transferable/related experience required. Physical Requirements: * Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. * Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
