Teledyne Production Technician in North Falmouth, Massachusetts

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Assemble, test, tune (when needed) of subassemblies and electromechanical products

  • Ability to read assembly prints, procedures and schematics

  • Comply with all company safety policies

  • Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees)

Education and Experience:

  • High School or trade school diploma

  • 2 – 4 years technical experience, or military technical training

  • Knowledgeable in the use of basic test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, Power supplies etc.)

  • Successfully pass company provided IPC-J-STD-001 certification

  • Successfully pass company provided IPC/WHMA-A-620-cable and harness assembly-certification

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Ability to work with changing demands in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong electronic and mechanical aptitude

  • Computer Experience required including a working knowledge of MSOffice programs, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement

  • Ability to adapt to change and maintain a positive attitude

Supervisory Responsibilities :

  • None

Training Requirements :

  • IFS training

  • HSE/Quality Overview

  • Teledyne Ethics/Harassment

  • Hazardous Communications

  • IPC /WHMA-A-620 –Cable and Harness Assembly

  • IPC-J-STD-001-Certified IPC Specialist

Personal Protective Equipment :

  • The use of Safety Glasses is required throughout all production areas of the facility

  • Safety shoes as required per TMS policy

Physical demands :

  • Ability to lift 40-60 lbs

  • Prolonged periods of standing or sitting

  • Hard Hats Required in Designated areas.

Work Environment:

  • Work area on open production floor

  • Work with chemicals as required

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
