Job Description

The Associate Director, HRConnect People Experience is responsible for leading a team dedicated to delivering an excellent and efficient employee experience as the first point of contact for all HR-related matters within AbbVie’s global HR operations shared service center. Collaborates closely with cross-functional partners (e.g. Global employees, Business HR, Total Rewards, Finance, Payroll, Digital and Data strategy, Business Technology Solution and vendor partners) to deliver on the AbbVie HR Strategic Choices, HR Operation’s Strategic Priorities and meet business needs. This role has responsibility for managing multiple geographies and working cross functionally with global teams. Must have the ability to effectively interact and manage stakeholder relationships, identify/ translate business requirements, and transform those requirements into system and HR services solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Champion the services and content available to employees and ensure HR Operations delivers an excellent employee experience.

  • Build and sustain a high-performing, highly engaged team of HR Operations Consultants

  • Identify, sponsor and deliver process optimization efforts, including but not limited to technology enhancements, to reduce the burden on the team and improve the employee experience.

  • Serve as a liaison to our HR business partners globally to support alignment of HR Operations People Experience support to business HR strategies, identifying ways to increase employee and manager self-service, and reduce burden to affiliate and COE partners.

  • Effectively engage with stakeholders (internal and external) to meet or exceed key service level agreements, quality targets and key performance indicators.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree is required. Masters degree preferred.

  • 5-10 years of experience required in HR and HR operation support.

  • Demonstrated experience of building and sustaining a high-performing, highly engaged team.

  • Experience in managing range of HR services to a large, geographically dispersed, large employee population size corporate (over 10 thousand) that operates business globally.

  • Experience in HR systems (e.g. Workday, SAP), Payroll, CRM platform and related data / vendor management.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and ability to conceptualize strategy planning and implementation of projects.

  • Effective leadership skills that can motivate and drive a disciplined approach that respond to business needs.

  • Strong stakeholder management experience at all levels (internal and external partners), with a bias towards delivering effective and efficient people solutions.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • This role follows a hybrid schedule and requires 3 days onsite per week

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​

  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​
