Your Opportunity

We are seeking a driven and motivated individual to join our team as a Roadway Design Engineer! This position could be in Greenville, Charleston, or Columbia, SC, as well as Asheville NC.

Your Key Responsibilities

Stantec’s local office designs a wide variety of transportation projects, such as interstate widening, arterial widening, intersection improvements, roundabouts, complete streets, and bicycle / pedestrian projects. These projects will offer you the opportunity to experience a broad range of professional experience. Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Proficiency with MicroStation and GEOPAK/OpenRoads experience required.

  • Leading the development of roadway improvement plans for a variety of transportation projects.

  • Originating technical calculations and assisting the preparation of technical reports and project specifications.

  • Assisting in the preparation of technical reports and project specifications.

  • Ability to work independently and in groups.

  • Good communication, multi-tasking, attentiveness to detail.

  • Willingness to learn new skills.

  • Assisting in proposal development and client presentations.

Education and Experience

Completion of a four (4) year college level academic program in Civil Engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree is mandatory. EIT preferred.
