SUMMARY: ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Sprull Avenue).

ASRC Federal provides federal government agencies a complete spectrum of operations and maintenance, facilities management, logistics, and business process support services. We strive to not only meet our customers' needs but help them overcome challenges as well. We are currently looking for a Plumber .

The Plumber provides a wide range of plumbing support with a wide breadth of plumbing knowledge in installing, maintaining and repairing indoor and outdoor plumbing systems at large facilities.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.

• Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.

• Uses a variety of hand tools and power tools.

• Cuts and threads pipe using pipe cutters and cutting torch.

• Assembles, installs and repairs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals dishwashers and water softeners.

• Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains and toilets.

• May have other additional duties as assigned.

Requirements :

• At least 2 years of recent experience as a plumber

• Must be able to push, pull and/or life 50 lbs.

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent is required.

• Must be 21 years old.

• Must be a US or Naturalized Citizen.

• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and physical.

• Must maintain a valid SC drivers license and a clean driving history .
