Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Mechanic (Day Shift)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled maintenance on all shop equipment, troubleshoot and repair machines, and assist with the installation of new tools. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of maintenance experience and a strong understanding of scheduled maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on all shop equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair machines and report findings.

• Assist with the installation of new tools.

• Install new equipment with the assistance of supplier technicians.

• Troubleshoot alarms, HVAC, chillers, filters, PC issues, and down equipment.

• Maintain several welding machines, CNC lasers, CNC lathes, drill presses, press machines, plasma cutters, grinders.

• Perform facilities maintenance and upkeep.

Work Environment/Shift

This position is based in a fabrication shop environment that is non-climate controlled. This position is day shift, Monday through Friday!

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00
