Job Title: Lead Electronics Assembler
Job Description
This role involves following detailed work instructions to assemble and wire electronic cabinets per detailed manufacturing requirements, including electronic cabinets, mechanical cabinets, components, and poles/doors. The successful candidate will build assemblies and sub-assemblies, wire components, and read and relay electrical drawings and schematics to the team. Additionally, the role includes performing a variety of operations to assemble industrial products or subassemblies where methods and sequence of assembly are clearly written and described. The Assembly/Integration Lead will guide a team of 5-10 employees, provide mechanical and electrical assembly training for new employees, and coordinate with the 1st shift production supervisor for daily priorities. The role also involves troubleshooting basic equipment issues and striving to achieve 100% on-time shipments to customers.
Preferred Skills:
5+ years of fast-paced assembly experience
2+ years of lead or supervisory experience
Proficiency with electrical and mechanical assembly processes
Ability to build assemblies and sub-assemblies
Proficiency in wiring components
Ability to read/interpret electrical and mechanical assembly fabrication drawings
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
Strong communication skills to effectively relay information to the team
Work Environment
Non Climate Controlled (very hot in the summer), Metal/Composite Fabrication environment
