Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health is now seeking to fill our House Supervisor Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN positions (various shifts)

Position Summary

As a member of the nursing management team, the House Supervisor is a Registered Nurse (RN) that manages Nursing Services for the hospital during the shift and ensures the delivery of quality care to psychiatric patients, family members and all customer groups.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervise staff involved in providing nursing care and in the oversight of clinical areas after-hours.

  • Work closely with all members of the interdisciplinary treatment team and keep the physicians and administration informed of issues that arise.

  • Communicates census, bed status, medical and behavioral problems, staff incidents, and other problems encountered during shift.

    Schedule *Ideal candidates will need to have flexible availability to work both day and night shifts.

    Day: 7:00am to 7:30pm

    Nights: 7:00pm to 7:30am

    Qualifications

    Education

    Graduate of an accredited college of nursing. BSN or BS preferred. Specialty certification also preferred.

    Experience

    Minimum of One (1) year of recent Psychiatric Nursing experience, including an addictions component.

    Recent management/administrative experience preferred.

    Age-Specific Competencies

    Child, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric

    Licensure/Certification

    Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina.

    CPR/CPI Certification Required – provided upon hire
