Roles/Responsibilities:

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department and staff.

• Supervises field operations and performs maintenance tasks daily, as needed.

• Training all Maintenance Department new hires.

• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

• Handles all administrative employee concerns in accordance with company policy.

• Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.

• Assesses building systems Preventative Maintenance Schedules to plan work assignments and project schedules.

• Inspects job quality of all employee assigned tasks.

• Develops maintenance procedures and schedules.

• Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

SUMMARY: ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Shall possess at least 6 years recent (within the past 10 years) responsible experience in the supervision of complex commercial and institutional facilities involving facility operations and maintenance.

• Should have demonstrated skills and knowledge in planning for and establishing the supervision and structural organization needed to operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.

• Shall have proficiency in oral and written communications in English.

• Shall have basic computer skills to include the ability to input data into the system and generate various reports and correspondence as required.

• Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed in accordance with code requirements.

• Excellent supervisory and communication skills.

• Must be able to lift 65 pounds at a time.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
