TEKsystems Desktop Support Technician in North Charleston, South Carolina

Top Technical Skills Needed:

  1. Support of end-user desktop, laptop, phone, mobile device hardware, software, break/fix services and asset device moves & setup.

  2. Troubleshoot and repair computer systems and peripheral equipment,

  3. Installation, support, and maintenance computer systems and peripheral equipment

responding to incidents and service requests either at IT service center, in person, by telephone, or via remote access.

  1. Monitor their respective ticket queue and handle tickets to ensure incidents and service requests are addressed in a timely manner, meeting established metrics and SLAs P

  2. Ability to analyze, test, troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of PC problems related to hardware and software

  3. Ability to work independently or as a team to resolve customer incidents

  4. Effectively work with PC imaging software

IT Skills:

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

This person will be a heavy customer facing role and MUST be professional, personable and confident to be able to work with a wide variety of end users. They must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be organized and able to work in a fast paced environment.

Any valid CompTIA certification is a plus for this client.

Experience Level:

6-months to 2 years of experience targeting (junior level tech)
