Accounts Receivable Analyst
Overview of Position
This position is primarily responsible for working multiple projects that involve analyzing data for trends across multiple specialties.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Following up on and resolving outstanding aged AR accounts using various research methods including phone calls to the payer and appeals through online insurance portals to maximize reimbursement.
Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; spot issues, trends and areas for improvement
Analyze data to discover denial patterns
Good knowledge of healthcare, government and/or insurance industry
Respond to client research requests and may be assigned other tasks as requested by management.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Must have experience with Change Healthcare clients within pathology and lab specialties
3+ years’ relevant work experience, preferably related to accounts receivable
Healthcare and / or insurance billing, processing or customer service preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office products (esp. Excel)
MUST have MDIV system experience
Background in government and/or commercial insurance healthcare coverage is a plus
Comprehensive knowledge of the A/R process

Very strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and teams
