The Hershey Company Team Lead, Southeast Field Sales in North Carolina

Job Location: Charlotte or Southeast * Position Summary:* Responsible for leading a team of 275+ field sales team members. This role is responsible for $800 million- $1 billion in retail sales volume across multiple channels through in-store retail activation. Hire, coach and lead the retail sales area inclusive of 9-10 District Sales Managers as direct reports as well as our District Sales Supervisors, Retail Sales Representatives, and Part-Time Retail Sales Merchandisers. This team delivers top tier retail activation of company initiatives within the routed channels of coverage. Includes achieving sales and share objectives, as well as KPIs on analytics and people development. This role will enable our continued leadership in the marketplace while delivering best-in-class talent development through hiring, coaching and developing their leaders. The ideal candidate demonstrates strategic and innovative thinking with strong business acumen, is highly collaborative, has exceptional communication and leadership skills, and a proven drive for results. * Responsibilities:* Activate an area people and business strategy to achieve company defined KPIs for our people and the business Lead, coach and recruit to develop and enhance a high performing, diverse team and culture that maximizes Hershey’s retail leadership, talent development and retail return on investment Select, coach and develop leaders of leaders (District Sales Managers) and first-time leaders (District Sales Supervisors) Guide the strategy and provide oversight to DSMs and DSSs on the recruiting, selection, on-boarding and development of Retail Sales Representatives and Retail Sales Merchandisers Elevate team roster development for the entire retail sales team through effective implementation of the company's staffing, training, and performance management models Deliver best-in-class teamwork and collaboration with internal partners to define retail activation plans to achieve Hershey's sales and share goals Ensure staffing levels and productivity measures are met on an on-going basis Ensure that team members follow company policies and procedures * Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: * Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Experience: Increasing levels of leadership experience across multiple customer channels, including experience in a field sales environment. Account or Category Management leadership experience on a strategic customer. Cross-functional experience is a plus.
