Stark State College PT Administrative Assistant I in North Canton, Ohio
Hourly Wage Range: $14.79 - $19.22 Typical Hours of Work: Average of 29 hours maximum per week. Typically, during the fall and spring semesters the PT Administrative Assistant I works from 12:00pm to 7:00PM. Monday through Thursday. The remainder of the year they work 9:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Thursday. Hours may vary based on departmental need. If you enjoy a position that provides administrative support and acts as gatekeeper for a manager, department, division, or office. Also performs duties such as financial record keeping, event planning, coordination of meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies, coordinating direct mailings and works on special projects as requested. This position answers non-routine correspondence and assembles highly confidential and sensitive information. Deals with a diverse group of important external stakeholders as well as internal contacts at all levels of the college. May be responsible for meeting minutes. Works independently under general direction; must also be able to work cooperatively as a member of a team. To be considered you'll need: High school diploma or GED required. Preferred Qualifications Associates' degree in office administration or a related field is preferred. CAP or CPS certification a plus.
