Job Title: Powder Coat Painter | 1st shift | $20-$23 | Canton, OH

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Powder Coat Painter to join our team in Canton. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $18-23 and operates on a 1st shift schedule with four 10-hour days from Monday to Thursday and occasional overtime on Fridays from 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM. You will work on the paint line, focusing on powder coating and wet painting industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Paint industrial equipment, primarily large items, using powder coating and wet paint techniques.

• Set up and clean spray guns.

• Change wet tanks and perform color/powder changes.

• Maintain the wash line and change feed hoppers.

• Prime parts before painting and perform quality checks on finished parts.

• Ensure compliance with color change procedures.

Essential Skills

• Experience in industrial painting, specifically powder coating and wet painting.

• Proficiency in setting up and cleaning spray guns.

• Experience with color/powder changes and maintaining wash lines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with various paints such as epoxies, powder coats, and wet paints.

• Experience with different spray guns and pressure pots.

• Ability to measure paint thickness and knowledge of various spray gun brands.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00
