Job Summary Job Description The primary responsibility of the CNC Programmer is to ensure that job orders are properly and safely fabricated. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES * Program daily production orders. * Ensure CNC machines are properly utilized though optimizing programs and daily production runs. * Ensure all orders or programs are realized in a timely manner. * Work with Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering Depts. to revise prints or report discrepancies; Coordinate with the operator and supervisor daily, ensure enough programs are available to fully utilize time and equipment. * Design/follow process control plans, routings, and work instructions. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * 2-4 years of relevant experience. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field. * Ability to comprehend and create routings, bill of materials, work instructions, and check sheets. * Ability to program CNC Equipment i.e. Mill, Turret, and Lathe with unigraphics, and troubleshoot programming on machinery. * 3-D Modeling Experience (unigraphics/mastercam). * Good analytical problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, self-motivated and team oriented Ability to deal with change and respond quickly to a fast-paced environment.
