PURPOSE: *Role is responsible for process ownership within a team, including the execution, continuous improvement, and problem solving. Required to understand downstream customer requirements to meet customer expectations. Performs some routine assignments, yet understands how the role fits into the larger business process. Effectively applies problem solving methodologies to perform process reengineering or supply chain project support to achieve significant business results. Role drives change through the fundamental theories, principles, and concepts or supply chain, continuous improvement, and/or lean manufacturing. Receives minimal guidance from others. *PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Execute, improve and deploy improvements to processes within supply chain * Drives significant improvements on business processes and projects through the use of problem solving tools such as Value Stream Mapping, A3s or Plan-Do-Check-Act * Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for problem across Supply Chain processes * Develop, optimize and integrate detailed schedules/supplier plans in a lean environment, to achieve the business goals * Understand and communicate value stream and/or supply chain capacity and constraints * Participate in supply chain projects within the value stream (plan, source, make, deliver); develop and compete project work plans; provide required status reports * Regularly utilize lean tools and other business processes such as Kanban, spike tools, 5Y, and other project management tools * Maintain relationships with internal and external business partners including, suppliers, supervisors, and team leads, logistics/warehouse groups and material planners * Communicate/present lean tool applications such as value stream and process mapping, kaizen, and PDCA *CULTURE AND BENEFITS: *Andersen is committed to making a difference through challenging ourselves each day, recognizing and rewarding success, taking pride in our work and honoring a legacy built on doing the right thing.
