Tuvli is seeking a senior-level Oracle database administrator to join our team supporting our Federal Government client in North Bethesda, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and mentorship to support the success of the entire team

• Installs, configures, and maintains Oracle RAC on multiple platforms

• Identifies and resolves database issues related to performance and capacity

• Migrates databases within and across different platforms

• Reduces operational time and complexity by automating common procedures/tasks

• Creates and maintains a documented library of re-usable processes and procedures, both automated and manual

• Discusses database related topics with both technical and business audiences

• Participates in on-call rotation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field

• 15+ years of related experience is required

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Demonstrated ability leading a successful team

• Extensive experience managing Oracle RDBMS on *nix platforms

• Expert working knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 19c

• Expert working knowledge of Oracle RAC

• Expert in common Oracle RDBMS utilities, emphasis on RMAN and Data Pump

• Familiar with Oracle database STIG compliance, Oracle Advanced Security and Security compliance best practices

• Experience with scripting languages such as BASH, Python, and Perl

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Control 13c monitoring and reporting

• Experience with managing Oracle RDBMS on Oracle Exadata platform

• Hands on experience with database management on AWS RDS environments

• The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen or a green card holder

• Be able to obtain Public Trust clearance

Pay Range

$130,000 to $150,000
