Averro LLC Materials Distribution Specialist in North Bend, Washington

Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Material Distribution Specialist for a major manufacturing company which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in a warehouse environment looking to further their career.
- Follow orders pick list to picking parts from various stock locations in warehouse, including customer and assembly orders.
- Deliver to shipping area for packing and shipment.
- Items can be retrieved by hand, or using a hand truck or forklift.
- Pack parts in appropriate container for shipping.
- Works in woodshop building pallets and boxes.
- Review part/item requests. Identify parts/items that need to be shipped.
- Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.
- Inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
- Nails covers on wooden crates and binds containers with metal tape, using strapping (banding) machine.
- Package the part(s)/items(s) for shipping.
Essential Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 1 year of shipping and receiving and inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1 year using a forklift
- Ability to lift 35+ pounds and work on your feet
