ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT:

The Program Manager, ERP is responsible for the strategic oversight, execution, and governance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, business needs, and modernization objectives. This role provides leadership, risk management, and stakeholder coordination to drive the successful deployment of the ERP system while embedding best practices, change management, and long-term operational sustainability. The Program Manager ensures executive-level visibility, adherence to project governance, and the integration of ERP processes into business operations.

MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide overall direction, strategy, and execution for the ERP program, ensuring it meets business transformation objectives.

  • Establish program governance structures, aligning projects and workstreams with strategic priorities.

  • Act as the primary liaison between the executive sponsor, senior leadership, and the project team, ensuring informed decision-making.

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success.

  • Ensure the ERP implementation aligns with business process improvements, operational efficiencies, and future scalability.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact ERP deployment.

  • Manage program budgets and resource allocation, ensuring financial efficiency and ROI.

  • Oversee vendor contracts and third-party partnerships.

  • Develop contingency plans to address potential roadblocks, ensuring program resilience.

  • Work with HR and operations to ensure the right talent and training are in place for long-term ERP success.

  • Ensure alignment with Organizational Change Management (OCM) best practices, embedding user adoption strategies into the program.

  • Develop training and transition plans to ensure employees are prepared for the ERP shift.

  • Monitor business process readiness, identifying and addressing gaps in workflows, data migration, and system integration.

  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and operations to ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems to the new ERP environment.

  • Ensure post-implementation sustainability by defining roles, responsibilities, and ongoing governance structures.

  • Evaluate ERP performance post-implementation, ensuring system stability and process effectiveness.

  • Collect feedback from users and leadership, identifying areas for system enhancements.

  • Develop a post-go-live roadmap to refine processes, improve efficiency, and maximize ERP value.

  • Work with IT and business leaders to implement ongoing system updates and optimization.

  • Ensure that ERP best practices are embedded into the organization’s culture.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration, or Information Technology/Systems or equivalent

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is required

  • Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), Agile, CSM, PMI-ACP certifications preferred

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading large transformation/modernization projects

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to articulate a vision and to lead, support and inspire others

  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to perform financial analysis

  • Technical skills including Microsoft productivity tools and project management software  such as JIRA, Azure, Smartsheet

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including facilitation and presentation skills

  • Organizational skills, including the ability to manage a diverse workload and multiple simultaneous projects

  • Experience training and coaching team members on project management best practices

  • Knowledge of business analysis and project management best practices

  • Outstanding customer service skills

  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed

  • Commitment to health and safety
