Competitive Wages and Benefits: Company Paid Life, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability Insurances 401k after 1 year with 100% match up to 4% of contribution Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance effective 1st day of employment with option to select High deductible policy with flex spend or HSA Paid vacation, sick time and holidays Responsibilities Maintenance Supervisor 2nd Shift responsibilities include but are not limited to: Oversee maintenance activities for 2nd shift keeping consistent with Safety, Food Safety, OSHA, and National Beef standards Coach, train, instruct, develop, and evaluate maintenance team members Audit and eliminate any unsafe hazards in the plant Ensure that all team members adhere to plant policies, Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, and safety standards Collaborate with other departments regarding maintenance issues Conflict resolution Motivate maintenance team to achieve goals and standards while holding them accountable Emergency management Communication/hand-off with first shift and third shift team Work with the First Shift supervisor for daily direction and goal setting for the maintenance department Lead or participate in process improvement activities Use E-Maintenance software to track open and completed work for the department Use downtime reports and other data to optimize equipment PM's and increase equipment uptime Assist with troubleshooting and repair of down equipment Conduct performance evaluations Routinely inspect various elements of the building and grounds Other duties as assigned This is a safety sensitive position. This is an ON-SITE position. Qualifications Qualified candidates for the Maintenance Supervisor position should possess the following: Ability to identify issues and decide on required actions Competence to plan maintenance schedules Strong written and oral communication skills Excellent interpersonal and delegation skills Ability to analyze and solve problems Competency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite Critical-thinking skills PLC and Controls experience Refrigeration experience a plus Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
