Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Bakery Waste Handler. This position involves working in a challenging environment, handling bakery waste, and maintaining cleanliness in our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Empty bakery waste from cardboard boxes
- Operate a Skid Steer for waste management and cleaning tasks
- Clean food machine ducts periodically (smallest duct size: 3' x 5')
- Perform general cleanup duties
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols
Work Environment
- Dirty and dusty conditions with food dust in the air
- Temperature variations: As low as 40°F in winter, hot conditions in summer
- Indoor bakery setting
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in confined spaces (minimum duct size: 3' x 5')
- Willingness to wear appropriate protective gear
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning and waste handling tasks
