Position Summary Responsible for final assembly of high load disc (HLMR) and Versiflex Elastomeric (VEB) bearings, including packaging bearings for shipment. What you'll do

  • Review bearing drawings and assemble bearings to specifications.
  • Label bearings with job numbers, lot numbers and upstations as needed.
  • Touch up coatings and apply epoxy grit as needed.
  • Rim and repair VEB bearings.
  • Skid, band and wrap bearings for shipment
  • Label skids for shipment with job #, weight and skid number
  • Document work performed, including time & materials, on labor report, skid sheet and in computer.
  • Keep workstation clear and orderly
  • Perform safety checks on equipment in area.
