Position Summary Responsible for final assembly of high load disc (HLMR) and Versiflex Elastomeric (VEB) bearings, including packaging bearings for shipment. What you'll do
- Review bearing drawings and assemble bearings to specifications.
- Label bearings with job numbers, lot numbers and upstations as needed.
- Touch up coatings and apply epoxy grit as needed.
- Rim and repair VEB bearings.
- Skid, band and wrap bearings for shipment
- Label skids for shipment with job #, weight and skid number
- Document work performed, including time & materials, on labor report, skid sheet and in computer.
- Keep workstation clear and orderly
- Perform safety checks on equipment in area.
