A & S PEST CONTROL INC Termite Control Technician in Norlina, North Carolina

AandS Pest Control is seeking vibrant, self-motivated individuals who require little to no supervision and have a strong work ethic to join our team! Job Requirements:

  • No experience required - we will train you!PAID TRAINING
  • Valid Drivers license with clean driving record required
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background checks
  • Ability to acquire necessary pesticide license/certificate within the first 90 days of employment
  • Ability to work independently in the field, manage route-base tasks and interact with customers
  • Ability to provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance
  • Ability to identify other opportunities to recommend products and services for effective pest control

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and comprehend chemical label and safety data sheet and follow instructions to properly mix and apply products
  • Excellent communication and people skills are a must
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background screening and drug test.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving skills
  • NC Drivers License (Required)
  • Pay is based on experience.
  • Clear understand of the safety protocols for pest control, including wearing properly-fitted respirators when working with chemicals and donning protective clothing and gloves
  • Physical stamina to endure heavy lifting of equipment and excessive bending and kneeling to locate pests in hard-to-reach areas
  • Willingness to learn new extermination techniques and procedures based on industry trends

Responsibilities

  • Provide termite services to prevent and eliminate termite infestations and damage to buildings, homes and surrounding structures.
  • Offer sound advice on both chemical and natural pest control remediation options.
  • Install termite baiting systems, complete post constructions and termite spot treatments to provide customers protection from termites
  • Complete daily appointments, maintain accurate and legible work orders
  • Conduct thorough interior and exterior inspections to locate pests.
  • Prepare written reports for clients and explain services provided when possible
  • Use, protect, and store products and materials in strict accordance with labeling, government guidelines, and the company
  • Ensure the required equipment, products and materials are placed on the service vehicle to perform scheduled services.
  • Must be able to climb over and under structures under a variety of environmental conditions including seasonal weather, damp and dusty conditions
  • Proficient with hand tools, job-related specialty tools, and power tools
  • Drive company vehicle and follow routes in designated areas to ensure prompt and safe arrival to each customer
  • Engage with customers by setting project expectations and guiding them through the process to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Thoroughly complete all required documentation relating to the service and use the portable device provided to ensure speed and accuracy
  • Familiarity with electrical and plumbing systems in the event of infestations in the pipes or chewed wiring.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $34,300.00 - $37,440.00 per year
