ADP is hiring Openstack Support Analysts - can be remote!

Onsite Locations: Norfolk, VA (preferred) or Roseland, NJ

We are seeking skilled and experienced Technical Engineers for Openstack and Openshift operations. In this role, you will be r esponsible for the deployments, configuring and optimization of Openstack based cloud infrastructure. You will ensure availability, performance, and security of the cloud service.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

  • Continuous Learning. You will actively collaborate with other developers to share ideas or show what you've learned. You are eager to learn, keep up with ever-changing technologies, and maintain the ability to create the best tools for our clients.

  • Support & Problem-Solving. You may work on products currently in use. If so, you might act as a point of contact for one day/week, supporting your clients for any urgent issues that require resolution. You'll start those days with your regular work activity but will have to switch gears to a support role as needed throughout your assigned support day.

  • You have 2-8 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.

  • Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining Openstack services, ensuring they are correctly set up and performing optimally.

  • Experience implementing and maintaining security best practices, including access controls, authentication, and encryption to safeguard our cloud environments, ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.

  • Skilled with planning and executing the expansion of the Openstack infrastructure to accommodate increasing workloads and requirements.

  • Experience monitoring Openstack infrastructure, identifying performance bottle necks and implementing improvements to maintain high level of service.

  • Experience managing backup and disaster solutions to protect data integrity and ensure high availability.

  • Experience creating and maintaining automation scripts and to streamline operations.

  • Skilled with creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of configurations, procedures, and best practices.

  • Possess excellent troubleshooting skills, conduct root cause analysis of issues, Change, Incident and Problem management.

  • A strong background in Linux administration, virtualization, networking, and security is desirable.

  • Experience working with infrastructure teams to define practices for Platform deployment, Project lifecycle, Platform hardening, Resiliency, Security, Operations, and maintenance.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $48,400.00 - $129,780.00 / Year
