Description

Immediate PART TIME opportunity for an HR Coordinator in the non-profit industry, based in Norfolk, Virginia. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with various HR functions, including onboarding new employees, assisting with background checks, and data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the onboarding process for new employees and volunteers, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

• Utilize HRMS and other systems such as Payday to manage employee information and perform other HR functions.

• Conduct background checks as part of the recruitment process, in line with compliance regulations.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience in HRMS

• Familiarity with conducting Background Checks

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Prior experience in a similar role

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
