Business Information Developer Consultant – IngenioRx Pharmacy Reporting & Analytics – PS50056
Locations: Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Las Vegas, NV; Louisville, KY; Mason, OH; Minneapolis, MN; Morristown, NJ; St. Louis, MO; Virginia Beach, VA; Wallingford, CT
Responsible for developing and executing complex data and financial analyses. Position will develop and maintain analytical reports to support pharmacy data analyses, including data transformations, validations, and testing.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Develops and executes data mining analyses.
Uses program languages, such as SQL, Python, and R, to extract data.
Develops new and standard reports utilizing data warehouse information.
Programs and writes queries and reports.
Develop and prepare data analyses and financial models.
Work on defined and undefined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Handle complex problems/issues where analysis of situations, or data, requires an evaluation of intangible factors, innovative solutions, and effective and collaborative leadership.
Must be able to become knowledgeable, and maintain understanding of, contract specifications, client details, and pharmaceutical product categories.
Requires a BS/BA degree; 4-5 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages is also required.
The majority of time will be spent programming.
This job is more focused on very complex data mining analysis, coordinating the activities of a project team, and developing complex strategic report applications as compared to the Bus Info Developer Sr job.
Health Care Experience = Pharmacy preferred, Financial reporting a plus
SQL development = required, 3-5 years experience (advanced)
SAS development = optional, but a big plus
Excel proficiency = required, 3-5 years experience (advanced)
Complex Report Development = required, 3-5 years experience (advanced) – looking to identify type of reporting and what tools used (SAS, SQL Server/SSIS/SSRS, Teradata, Tableau, etc.)
