Cardinal Health CNC Machinist, Tool Room Tech - 3rd Shift in Norfolk, Nebraska

Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00pm - 7:00am
Qualifications
Machinist Degree preferred, or 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to lift 50lbs
Strong understanding of metal properties and machining processes
Good mathematical and analytical skills
Proven experience in a tool room or similar environment
Ability to use precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers) accurately
Knowledge of CNC programming and operation
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and program Tool Room equipment including CNC Mills, CNC Lathe, saw, manual mill and lathes.
Set up and operate surface and cylindrical grinders.
Manufacture parts and components to print specifications using manual and CNC machinery.
Clean, evaluate, maintain, repair, and convert injection molds.
Work safely and maintain molds and equipment to operate as designed.
Maintain service records in compliance with FDA & ISO standards.
Determine root cause when addressing major tool damage / failure. Report findings to the Tool Room Lead.

Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
Works on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issues
May assist in recommendation of processes on new assignments
Adheres to all quality guidelines
Works with limited supervision
Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisor
May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members
Anticipated hourly range: $27.20 per hour - $39.69 per hour (includes shift differential)
