Job Responsibilities

As our Control Application Software Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control application software for embedded systems used in refrigeration and HVAC systems, leveraging your expertise in programming and algorithm design.

By collaboration with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications. You will build a strong network within Danfoss.

Furthermore, but not limited to, you can look forward to:

  • Utilizing model-based design techniques to develop control algorithms and software architectures.

  • Conducting thorough testing and debugging of software to ensure its performance and reliability.

  • Staying ahead of industry trends and advancements in control software development and incorporating them into our solutions.

  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our development processes and methodologies.

Background & Skills

This position requires a strong background in embedded programming, control algorithm design, model-based design, and a passion for creating efficient and robust control software solutions.

Therefore, you must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software-, Control-, Mechanical engineering, or a related field and experience in control application development and embedded systems.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Knowledge about the IEC 61131-3 programming languages.

  • Understanding of model-based design and control system theory.

  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, git, unit testing)

  • Experience in developing control software for HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial automation systems.

As a person, you possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and you not only understand but also excel in the importance of effective communication and collaboration abilities.
