Robert Half A/V Installation Technician in Norcross, Georgia

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Hardware Analyst located in Norcross, Georgia. The individual will primarily be tasked with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of various types of audio and visual equipment for both residential and commercial clients. This role is in the telecom industry and requires a combination of technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Install and set up a variety of audio and visual equipment such as televisions, home theater systems, speakers, and projectors.

• Secure equipment to walls, ceilings, or other structures as necessary.

• Run and conceal wiring and cables to ensure a clean and detail oriented installation.

• Configure and calibrate audio and visual systems to guarantee optimal performance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with installed equipment promptly and efficiently.

• Educate clients on the proper use and maintenance of their audio and visual systems.

• Maintain accurate records of all installations, services performed, and equipment used.

• Collaborate effectively with team members and clients to meet project specifications and deadlines.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Requirements • Proficiency in handling Audio Equipment

• Expertise in managing and setting up Cabling systems

• Skilled in Audio Visual equipment operations

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues

• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users

• Strong understanding of hardware components and their functionalities

• Ability to diagnose hardware issues and implement effective solutions

• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Experience in creating and maintaining documentation of hardware inventories and equipment configurations

• Understanding of industry standards and safety procedures related to hardware management

• Ability to work collaboratively with other IT professionals to meet organizational goals

• Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in hardware technologies
