Norton Sound Health Corporation Village Clinic Manager in Nome, Alaska

**[Purpose of Position: [Manage the clinic operations in the Sub-Regional clinic, monitoring the efficiency, overseeing the supply, maintenance and building use functions; Coordinate with all clinical providers: Assist with grant writing and management.

  • Working closely with the clinical staff, provide operational support within the clinic to ensure efficiency while providing the best possible care to patients
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for maintaining appropriate supply inventory and the check and balances for maintaining accuracy and safety of medications, etc.
  • Coordinate with staff that provide the various services in the clinic to network and streamline the delivery of the healthcare where possible
  • Perform seasoned administrative work in support of the village clinic to include, but not limited to, data entry, following up on patient concerns, grant management, etc.
  • Work closely with the supervisors that the clinic staff report to making sure that communication is clear and expectations are met
  • Develop, implement policies and procedures and manage building usage, upgrades, changes and modifications, making recommendations to leadership and working with the appropriate departments when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned
