Primary Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products, from product definition and planning through production, release and end-of-life

  • Management of the full product lifecycle with a technical focus, including the strategy, design, development, management and end-of-life of new, existing or acquired products

  • Leverages market insights and emerging technology developments and trends to understand market/customer needs, as well as identify new opportunities or make adjustments to current product offerings

  • Balances deep subject matter expertise with knowledge of business use cases and solid technical aptitude

  • Accountable for delivering product performance in alignment with expectations, and updates changes to a product portfolio to improve competitive position and produce optimal product performance to meet customer and market needs

  • Accountable to and/or owns the P&L, and is responsible for cross-functional stakeholder management, to include (but not limited to) design, engineering, scrum teams, business leaders, etc., functioning as technical expert with a fluency in development concepts and modern development practices

  • Positions in this function may require a background or degree in computer science or engineering

  • Drive product vision and strategy roadmap

  • Engage appropriate enterprise-wide stakeholders to enable awareness and alignment

  • Lead the product across its entire lifecycle using defined processes and industry best practices

  • Know the market, to effectively identify and frame new technology products

  • Define solutions with high-value requirements, a compelling business case, clear product positioning, priority and strategic impact

  • Partner with stakeholders to enable successful development, delivery, and adoption of technology solutions

  • Manage ongoing product performance, expansion, financial health, roadmap and end-of-life decision as appropriate

  • Serve as the product champion and apply deep expertise to credibly represent, manage and engage with business(es)Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.

  • Actively advances understanding of product model and product culture across assets / teams

  • Understands the “what & why” of the User Stories & Feature, their relationship to OKR's, and how each may impact the Customer

  • Understands and contributes to initiatives and value propositions to deliver a thoughtful, holistic solution

  • Understands primary capabilities within the portfolio / product line

  • Understands a feature’s impact / relationship on other functionality

  • Understands high level end to end solution including data flows

  • Comfortable in Aha, Rally, GitHub

  • Working knowledge in DevOps

  • Proven ability to engage with users and delivers incremental value to consumers that will increase Net Promoter Score (NPS)

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively to build relationships with key stakeholders ( scrum teams / product leads / delivery leads)

  • Proven ability to identify and appropriately leverage SMEs

  • Proven ability to speak credibly to both business and technology partners across teams and levels

  • Proven ability to ensure user stories are directly tied to OKRs

  • Proven ability to manage prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, business requirements, technical limitations, performance and operational

  • Proven ability to drive the budget at feature/scrum team level

  • Proven ability to translate customer insights into actionable jobs to be done

  • Proven ability to support manage the product backlog and prioritization

  • Proven ability to partner with engineering teams on the creation of requirements and user stories

  • Proven ability to effectively balances needs of operations and technical teams

  • Proven ability to support integration testing / automation practices

  • Proven ability to be a trusted partner

  • Proven ability to provide situational support to other product teams

  • Proven ability to positively influence capability outcomes

  • Proven ability to effectively leads cross-functional meetings, interfaces well with direct leadership

  • Proven ability to leverage network to identify/refer qualified candidates to fill open roles

  • Proven ability to contribute to hire decisions using a calibrated bar for talent assessment

  • Proven ability to drive product strategy through strategic and feature roadmap development

  • Proven ability in establishing constructive, collaborative relationship with customers. Front face of customer

  • Proven ability in diffuses conflict by driving consensus based in the greater good of the product and customer needs

  • Proven ability in decomposes capabilities into manageable features/stories
